Part-time internship working for a new company helping to prepare for the launch of their social-media style website. See what it takes to get a site off the ground, launched, and successful on the web.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGWe are entering the final stages, panning out the details, crossing the t’s and dotting the i’s to soon have our developer begin creating the site. As we enter this process you will come along for the ride by:Assisting on the final plans before launch |Communicating with the developer to see the project details through |Brainstorming on initiatives for social media strategies on all ends from Facebook, to Twitter, to MySpace, etc. | Analyzing the comp |Brainstorming on and communicating with other websites, businesses, and organizations to form partnerships, both short-term and long-term. |Developing internet marketing strategy - SEO, SEM, Viral Marketing, etc. |Creating events, contests, and promotions. |Assisting in the development of the site's blog |

STRUCTURE

You can make this internship what you want it to be. If your skill-set, talents, and interests draw you closer to certain aspects more than others, than that is what you will mainly be focusing on.
Meetings in person once per week, all other communication done through email/skype meetings. As we collect your work we will gather it into a portfolio. You will be able to use this to show to future employers.

Passion: Should have an entrepreneurial mind, a great sense for creativity and thinking outside of the box, knowledge in web 2.0 Language: Should speak fluent or a very advanced English

WHEN

This is a 3 month, PT internship beginning end of February - you mainly work from home
